How do I get started?
The welcome screens introduce MedBuk+. Continue to create an account, sign in to an existing account, or explore first. You can skip the overview and replay it from You. The approved mascot has a still-image alternative when motion is reduced.
Mobile 1.6.2 source adds a brief neutral loading frame before the first slide. The app chooses the published tour once, or uses its bundled overview if the request fails or takes more than two seconds. A late reply does not replace the tour while you are reading it. Skip overview remains available during loading. An updated installed build is required for this change.
Account registration and sign-in use a verification code sent to your WhatsApp number. Enter the code in MedBuk to continue. Email, username/password and social sign-in are not enabled in the current release. An identity card is not required to try the app.
What is changing in mobile 1.7.0?
The next candidate adds email codes and configured Apple/Google sign-in, with a smaller Use Phone OTP instead option. These changes are not available in the installed 1.6.3 Preview. Provider setup and testing are still in progress.
When enabled, enter your email and choose Send email code, then enter the code from your inbox. You can change the address or request another code after the timer. Phone verification is not required after email or social signup. The existing phone option continues to send its code through WhatsApp.
Use the same method you originally used for an existing account. Matching names or email addresses do not automatically combine accounts. If a social account conflicts with an existing account, return to the original sign-in method. Linking methods and attaching a phone number later are not available in this candidate.
How do WhatsApp codes work?
Enter your phone number and choose Send WhatsApp code. The screen names WasenderAPI and WhatsApp before your number and code are sent. Enter the six-digit code in MedBuk within five minutes. A code can only be used once; wait for the resend countdown before requesting another. Only the latest code works.
If WhatsApp is unavailable or delivery is busy, try again after the indicated wait. A delivery request does not guarantee arrival. Phone verification does not verify identity or provide access to an employer’s workspace. Corporate and merchant portal users sign in by email and need an accepted invitation and the appropriate workspace role.
Do I have to answer the setup questions?
No. Setup asks only about goals and preferences, such as moving more, keeping records or finding a community. Each question is optional. Skip a question or leave setup and continue using the app. No health, camera, notification or sharing permission is granted by completing setup.
When you deliberately start setup while signed in, MedBuk saves your progress and the choices you submit. It can resume after an interruption. Unsaved selections are not silently submitted when you leave. If another device changes your setup, reload the saved version before continuing.
Who can see my setup answers?
Your account can read its own saved choices. Platform administrators see completion counts and grouped answers for each questionnaire version. Their reporting page does not show individual responses or identities. Merchant and employer workspace roles cannot open that reporting area. Guest overview browsing is not included in its counts.
These setup answers do not authorize marketing, health-data analysis or social sharing. Those choices remain separate.
Can I change or remove my choices?
Open setup from You. A completed or skipped setup stays saved until you explicitly remove it and start again. Removing setup data also removes it from the current report totals. It does not remove your account, meals or health readings. Account-data deletion also includes setup answers and progress; lifecycle audit metadata is retained.

Why might someone else see different questions?
MedBuk can publish a revised overview or questionnaire. A setup session keeps the version it started with, so an edit does not change the meaning of an earlier answer. A new publication does not force people who already finished to repeat setup.
